The basis of extrusion line automation has been gravimetric extruder control for over 35 years.
The principle of "Loss-in-Weight" guarantees a throughput determination accurate to the percentage, independent of the bulk density. Especially for co-extrusion lines, no other control principle for layer thickness control is conceivable.
The modular design of PLAST-CONTROL makes it possible to connect up to six gravimetric feeders per extruder. The recipe-accurate metering of expensive additives and masterbatches takes place directly above the extruder feed. Segregation is thus impossible.
All feeders are of course controlled synchronously with the extruders to ensure correct mixing at all times.
PRO-VIDE - material conveying
We have been automating extrusion processes for more than 45 years. Material costs represent the largest share of production costs. We optimize material supply and ensure efficient and consistent conveying for optimal utilization of your equipment.
PRO-CON - profile control
The reduction of transverse tolerances on blown films is a focus at PLAST-CONTROL.
In addition to the actuator used, fast and accurate software is crucial for the good result.
PRO-FIL - profile measurement
PLAST-CONTROL has been manufacturing its own capacitive measuring sensor technology for online thickness measurement of films for many years. Besides the capacitive measuring sensor C-HEAD, sensor C-SCAN offers solutions for barrier and cast films.
The AIR-CC offers another possibility for non-contact measurement.

We offer complex systems for gravimetric control and dosing as well as for automation of the film profile - and this for more than 45 years.
All PLAST-CONTROL systems can be modularly extended and thus individually adapted.
